Jim received his BS-History from the U of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, his BS- Education from the U of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He received his MS- Education from the U of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
He taught in the Social Studies Department at Antioch Community High School for 32 years.
Jim also coached soccer at ACHS for seven years. He was a part time photography Instructor at The College of Lake County for 20 years.
Jim worked at Western Iron Stories in Milwaukee for 13 years before becoming a social studies teacher. He was a sailing instructor – trainer for the Pierre Marquette Division of the American Red Cross based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
In 1999 Jim purchased his first Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He joined both the Kenosha & Lake Shore HOGs. & Crystal River HOG in Florida(Harley Owners Group). Since then Jim & his wife Linda have ridden some 80,000 miles traveling around the country.
Jim is now retired from teaching and is enjoying his time riding and managing the family’s two homes in Lake Villa, IL and Beverly Hills, Florida. Jim & Linda also do rare plant research in Florida.
